Every bit helps and every penny goes directly to the care of our rescue pugs. We are all unpaid volunteers!
Sincerely,
The Gang at Curly Tail
*Donations are not considered tax deductible at this time.
However, we are officially incorporated & licensed to do business in NY and MA.
Any donations made now will
be tax deductible, retroactively, as long as we obtain our 501(c)3
status within 27 mos. of our incorporation date.
NY & MA are the 2 central
locations for all adoptions and business activities.
Ever wonder if you are donating to the correct organization or
if anyone is accountable for the money that is being donated?
We get asked this question all the time. You always want to
contribute money to an organization that is at least a 501(c)3
Non-Profit. That is a basic....but not the whole picture....
• If an organization tells you that they are becoming a 501(c)3
Non-Profit, ask to see their EIN #, their Certificate of Incorporation
or license to do business in their respective state....even what state
they are licensed to do business in. That way you can look them up
yourself!
• You need to have these items in place in order to become a
501(c)3 status organization. Anyone can say they have it, or in the
process of getting it, and being one of those groups....we now know
what things to look for!
