Meet Rocky!     - Owner Surrender - Good with dogs - Good with children - Sweet and Lovable - Spry older Pug HIS STORY: Rocky is a ten year old surrender. His prior owner was handicapped and no longer able to care for him. He has been loved and cared for his whole life by the same person! Being a senior pug, he does require extra TLC...much like any pug right?! He has some extra cartilage in his ears, which has made hard of hearing. But this does little to slow down Rocky. His eyes need special drops twice a day. Curly Tail has taken care of all of his medical, removing skin tags and giving him a lovely dental so his teeth are sparkling clean!!! While he does have a number of small tags on his body, they are not harmful. He has trouble with staircases and would much rather hang out on the laptop all day, relaxing and cuddling with his foster mom. He does not like to share his food and will snap if bothered him while eating. We have been working with him on this, but it is best if he eats separately from other dogs. HIS PERSONALITY: When not eating, he enjoys spending time with his foster sister and brothers. Rocky loves to snuggle and play with his siblings and toys. He also gets along great with his foster parents 3 year old granddaughter, so he is a wonderful addition to any family as long as he is given adequate space during mealtimes. He is a velcro pug and will bark and howl when you leave the room! He will follow you from room to room as you move around the house. MOST ADORABLE FEATURE: He loves massages and being a cuddly lap dog. HOUSE TRAINING: EXCEPTIONALLY well trained !!!! He will ask to go potty and will do his business outdoors, however, for your convenience, he is also wee-wee pad trained. SPECIAL PERK: He is very spry for an older pug, is healthy and happy! FROM HIS FOSTER MOM: Rocky is a lovable, mushy little guy who loves to lie against your leg and snooze. We love having him around and want him to have the best forever home!
