Riley is a 2 year old pug who was owner surrendered.  His owners are expecting twins and also have an 18 month old. They could no longer give Riley the love and care he needs.

Riley loves to play and run around, but it doesn't take a whole lot to tire him out. Once he loses a few more pounds, his stamina is sure to increase.  He loves going for long walks to the dog park 1 to 2 times a day.

Riley is always ready for love, but is also just as happy to plop down on the floor and become a piece of pug furniture. When he's with you, he loves being brushed and having his ears rubbed when cleaning them. He purrs like a kitten, not wanting you to stop.

Riley enjoys the company of other dogs, but seems to prefer being the only dog in the house, or that his sibling be calm. Rough, energetic play can be a bit much for him. He loves to snooze.

When you leave for the day, he doesn't have any issues going in the crate, though he does whine a bit as you leave. We're sure it's because he can hear his foster brother from the other room and they're trying to plot on how they're going to escape. He is very friendly and has no problem going up to anyone on the street to say "hello."

He current is eating Health Extension little bites. It's a holistic dog food.  His feeding time right now is 7am and 7pm. 1/3rd cup in the morning and a third cup at night.  He also loves to snack on baby carrots and Merrick Flossies.

His Personality: A snoozy boy, like all couch potato pugs, he loves to lie sprawled out on the hardwood floor or carpet.  

TOTALLY TRAINED:  He is house trained. Just make sure to take him outside to do his thing right after he wakes up from his naps or when he leaves his crate.

MOST ADORABLE FEATURE: He squeals like a piggy when he sees his harness. He just loves going for long walks.

House Training:  EXCEPTIONALLY well trained!!!!  He will do his business outdoors but he does need to go out as soon as he gets up. He goes for walks twice a day and does his business during these walks.  He goes out again after dinner and before bed.

SPECIAL PERK: Everything. He's perfect in every way and will bring his forever family tons of joy!
