Slideshow and video to be posted soon! Pet Bowl Contest - NYC October 15 through October 30, 2009  Color Me Mine loves dogs and cats too! Thanks to a great recommendation from one of our customers, we decided to work with Curly Tail Pug Rescue. Now here is your chance to show support. The goal is to come Color Me Mine NYC, design a pet bowl, dish, or treat jar. All painted pieces will be donated to Curly Tail Pug Rescue and will be given to the next special person adopting a Pug. Photos will be taken of all pieces and showcased in our window display during the month of November. Voting will commence via Facebook, dates to be announced. The lucky winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to CanisMinor and a $50 gift certificate to Color Me Mine.  The contest begins October 15 through October 30, 2009. Studio fee for participation is $6. Thanks to all of you who were able to come out and join us at the NYC Pug Halloween meetup!! Here is a summary of the excitement: * 60 pugs participated in this year's costume contest * 17 prizes were awarded * 10 members won bags of Nutro food * Curly Tail Pug Rescue raised $310 * 17 pugs sat for mini photo sessions with Ixiana Hernandez * 1 full year of Meetup.com fees were paid * Nutro pet products gave members additional goody bags We also hope to have a link to the photos taken by Creature Feature Pet Photography later in the week.
