Curly Press & Feedback

When I adopted my sweet, gorgeous Bella from CTPR I never expected two things:

1) How extensive the process would be. The folks at Curly Tail are ferocious about making sure that the right pug is adopted by the right family (as well they should be).

2) How amazingly wonderful, caring and knowledgeable they are when it comes to these fabulous dogs. Drea taught me things about my pug, and how to best take care of her, that my vet never did in 15 years of taking care of my previous dog. And the help didn’t stop once I picked up my dog. Questions and requests for assistance were taken care of promptly and with the same love and caring after the adoption as before.

Bless you, Curly Tail Pug Rescue for the fabulous work you do with the wonderful creatures we call pugs! This is clearly not a money-making operation, it's truly a labor of pug love.

When my Otis died suddenly, my other pug, Molly, went into a deep depression, as did I.  Then I saw your website and my heart went out to all of you who work so hard to save these precious babies.  I saw Twinkie's picture and bio and fell in love.  An older gentleman was just what Molly needed as well as my 2 cats.  That fact that he is deaf made him more special.  I learned both canine and American Sign Language!  My fur babies and I are truly blessed thanks to your organization.  He is actually barking as I am writing this.  I am sure he is saying "Thank you CTPR for saving my life."

I would like to thank Curly Tail Pug Rescue for helping us find our newest family member Daisy. It was a pleasure working with this organization; they were informative and responsive throughout the adoption process. They were honest about any potential issues that could arise during the process and all in all, run a very well organized rescue. We have enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people all sharing the same goal of helping our little pug friends. So far everything is working out just great.

I have provided a picture of Luna (red harness) and our new addition Daisy (pink harness) sharing some nap time ;)

Through Curly Tail's deep compassion and dedication to rescuing pugs, and I mean that in the most literal sense, our family has found so much joy in our recent adoption of Rocky.  We are so in love with him and would not have had this love without Curly Tail.  Curly Tail's tireless efforts in matching the right family to their rescues, which involves applications, background checks, interviews, arranging meetings between foster parents and potential adoptive parents speaks to their dedication in finding these rescues loving forever homes.  Rocky has only been in our home since December, but it feels like we've known him forever - he so quickly settled into his new family and we so quickly took to him and his gentle ways.  Our older pug, Conan, who can tend to be stuck in his ways, is enamored by Rocky, just as we are!  We feel so fortunate to have worked with Curly Tail in finding our soul-pug and look forward to working with Curly Tail in any future adoptions that we may have the good fortune of pursuing.

Thank you again, Love Lauren, Ravi, Conan and Rocky!

We love him so very much.  Thank you so much for helping us find each other :)

The family knows Curly Tail Pug Rescue was our best option as difficult as it was to do. I can’t say thank you enough about your prompt and honest responses to my emails. You made the surrender very easy and without judgment.

Thank you, Thank you, Curly Tail Pug Rescue. What a wonderful little  princess that we have. She was a little Angel all the way home and now she is on the couch next to us.
We are such a happy family. Thank you so much.

I hope you realize the depth of the great work you do. Not only to rescue dogs but also to make families. We have been so impressed with the dedication and the high level of professionalism of Curly Tail Rescue

Thank you again. More updates to follow!

I must tell you how impressed I am with Curly Tail Rescue. Many  rescue groups simply have you fill out an application and then  "hammer" you with all the dogs awaiting adoption without really finding out who you really are.
Curly Tail's thoroughness and attention to detail is wonderful. You all have the dog's best interest at heart. You all seem to go the extra mile when it comes to the dogs.
I realize that you are all volunteers and I can't thank you enough for all you do for "our pugs".

I appreciate your thoughtfulness and thoroughness in making sure we had the perfect match.  An extra special thanks to Kristin in Massachusetts--you are an amazing animal advocate!

Bless you for your good work.  I live in Los Angeles, and saw your website on "Pampered Puppy".  We have 4 pugs in our family.  I wish you the best of luck in saving these precious dogs.  Pixie brought tears to my eyes, but I know she'll be as good as new with your good care.
