The Curly Bridge

There is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Lil' Rascal

Lil' Rascal was lost to an anesthesia complication a day after what appeared to be a sraightforward neuter surgery. He was only three years old and the surprise of his death is something many of us are still struggling with. We dont always have the questions to "why" or "how" but we are allowing good memories of Rascal to help sustain us. He was the sweetest most patient little boy and although he only spent a few days with his adoptive parents, he was loved a lifetime worth and we take solace in knowing his last few days were the best he ever had. We will always remember you Lil' Rascal...

Eloise was a goregous old gal who loved her life with her family so much, she waited until she was twenty years old to see herself over the bridge. Eloise is a perfect example of a dog who hangs on for the love and companionship of her family, despite and aging body. We know that the extraordinary love of her family was a huge contributing factor to her longeivity. Thank you to her family who adopted her and gave her everything she needed and more. Little Liam

Little Liam was one of the puppy mill puppies that was born during our rescue transportation.
Despite the emergency care he received and his foster mom Drea bottle feeding him and giving
IV fluids, Sadly, after lots of ups and downs we lost Little Liam in the middle of the night.

Pugsley, aka "the Sausage"

Pugsley, aka the Sausage was the apple of his mom Lori's eye. The Sausage was a silly, special, and very loved boy who had a great big ZEST for life! Pugsley was a famous Internet pug with his own blog and a big following of readers. Most importantly, the Sausage had a mama who truly adored him. Pugsley lived out his 14 years knowing peace, love, and joy everyday. In August 2006 he was diagnosed with Mast Cell Tumor Grade 3 and was given only a very short time to live. Pugsley however, shocked the doctors and everyone by living 2 years longer than they thought he would. The bond Pugsley had with his mama will never be broken, and she is certain they will meet again at the bridge someday....Rest in Peace sweet baby Sausage.
